Path to Nauset

Tom Ruddeforth, a photographer for 38 years, has been photographing the beautiful Cape Cod landscape since moving to The Cape in 1986. Strictly a film photographer, he works in traditional color and black and white as well as alternative processes. His work has been published in regional and national publications, most recently in the arts issue of Cape Cod Life Magazine in August, 1999, in a 5 page feature, and Art of the State of Massachusetts, a book published in 1999 featuring the works of Massachusetts artists. His photographs are in numerous private collections around the world. The Chicago Stock Exchange, the Pine Hills Country Club, the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands, Cape Cod Hospital and Oasis Systems are just a few of the corporations with collections of his photographs. Tom is proud to have donated his photographs to several local charitable causes, including the Rehabilitation Hospital of the Cape and Islands, Art of Charity, The Cape Cod Museum of Natural History, and Lower Cape Outreach.

Tom’s photographs are shown at the Ruddeforth Gallery, 3753 Main St., Brewster, MA and the Chatham Art Gallery, 464 Main St., Chatham, MA.

“The images captured by this soft spoken photographer resonate with the very essence of Cape Cod. And as such, they speak for themselves”.
